I’ll be leaving Alabama for the first time in about four months and heading back to California. To be honest , the thing I miss the most besides my family is the food in my hometown. I cannot wait to be able to drive down to Inn & Out and pick up a 4 by 4. Then I’ll go to Mexican food for dinner. Early monday morning after the Alabama beat Florida, I signed up for the waiting list for BSC championship tickets. How the waiting list works is it a 20/80 break down, 20% of the tickets allotted for student goes to Graduate students and 80% goes to undergraduate student. Then each student is ranked by the number of hours/ units. But unfortunately I received an email informing me that I was ineligible to receive a student, because of my lower number of hours at Alabama. I also received an email from Alabama, saying that for the student that attend the BCS game, because school starts on January 6 and the game is January 7, will be given a pass. My flight for California is Friday at 2:30 p.m., I fly into Sacramento.

MTV’s Two-a-Days
This where the Student section is on Game Days
The bleachers were getting wet
On Friday I attended the Alabama High School Football Championship. A few years ago MTV had a show called Two-a-Days, It followed the Hoover High Buccaneers football team. Hoover is a high school in Hoover, Alabama. They played against Prattville at Bryant-Denny (which is Alabama’s Stadium) on friday and beat Prattville 28, 23 to become State Champions for the first time in about 4 years. It was a little cold, and then it started to rain, I was hoping it would snow. It was nice to be able to sit anyway at bryant-denny, its different place from a different side.

Well it happened, we beat #1 Florida and proved that we are the better team. We will be heading to Pasadena for the BCS National Championship game. I watched the game at my friends house we were going crazy, I cannot believe I go to Alabama. After the game this town was going nuts, bottle rockets, screaming, car horns, and Roll Tide covered the night sky. The Star have once more fallen on Alabama. We find out tomorrow if we will have our first Hiesman trophy winner in Mark Ingram. It look as if Santa had been checking his list twice and made my wish of a BCS National Championship title a reality. Thanks St. Nicholas “Saban”!!!

VS.
This is the game that will make or break our season. This is the SEC Championship Game, if we beat the Florida Gators we will move on to Pasadena and the BSC Championship Game. Florida will be the toughest of this season. Florida is ranked number 1 and Alabama is ranked number 2, so it will be a battle. The game is played in Atlanta, Georgia at the Georgia Dome. Tomorrow, Friday I will be going to the Alabama High School Football Championship game that is played at Byrant-Denny Stadium. The team from MTV’s Two-a-days, Hoover High will be playing. Next week is finals, I will be heading back to California on December 11th.
